Last night sleep was not good. I sneezed after I putting on my mask tried to take it off and pull the tape off my mouth when I felt it coming. It was a stressful feeling seconds. After I put everything back on I just could not breathe from my right nare and with my mouth tape it was a struggle I wanted to open my mouth to breath. So I took the tape off and fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of gushing air leak and reached the top to u hook to pee and the tube WAS NOT Connected!!! I was like what is going on. Around 4 am just gushing air leak after another one. But even all that I still had an intense weight lifting session. Didn’t feel zombie. Work was great. Didn’t feel moody. I did put in a continuous glucose monitoring thing Majigger on. My blood glide between 98-105. I want to see what it’s like when I sleep. I am turning down the temperature of the tube tonight and while I type this it is comforting breathing in the cooler air. Praying for a good night sleep. Busy busy day tomorrow

12 days with my CPAP Bestie

 I am starting this blog to track my journey with my CPAP Bestie in real time.  First night with her was on April 2, 2026. Last night till this morning OMG so many freaking air leaks.  I would wake up with gush of air on my face so loud.  Dry desert dry mouth, unclipping the sides of the face mask to drink some water that spilled, cause its dark. I'll post my screen shots. This is the second time there have been some air leaks and I dont know why. I woke up at 430 so I can finish up my charting from the patients I saw yesterday.  I feel good no fog having my two cups of coffee but just little irritated waking up three times due to the air leaks and adjusting my face mask while trying to get back to sleep. I also  needed to pee twice in the middle of the night. SO not a good time with my CPAP Bestie last night. Let see what my app says tomorrow.  April 13 due to dry mouth adjusted the temp but last night went back to automatic April 12 April 11 April 10...

​📆 Day 13 💤 6 hours  ⚡️10 📝 last night I woke up like three to four times. Either from air gushing on my face forcefully or hearing an air leak. It’s very frustrating then I had to pee. I had a hard time waking up I did press snooze. My energy level was still at a 10. I did call the place I received my CPAP and the lady on the phone asked me to try to go down on the humidity cause my mouth was so dry again as well. I had to unclip my mask to sip some water. She made me an appointment on the 29th to try a different mask with a chin strap. I’m gonna order some mouth tape. I think maybe my mouth opens and the pressure changes. Also I change positions and it shift my mask. I mean when it’s good it’s good but the last three nights knowing that it can be good but having things like this happen it’s  frustrating. I hate that sad face and than 7.9 number. My AHI score was 53 with 229 events in four hours. Alright praying tonight is better.

 ​ 🗓️ Day 21 💤 6 hours 18 minutes ⚡️10 📉 Events 0.9 YAY! I am really going to start on getting seven hours of sleep consistently and then eight hours. I felt great today. I was looking at pictures of myself in February I look rough. I took my sixth shot of Zepbound last night. I finally hit my protein macros yesterday. I increased my Magnesium Glycinate to 360 mg last night was taking 240 mg. I'm happy about this. There are times where the mouth tape does make me feel claustrophobic and I try to keep my mental game right in the middle of the night when I wake up because of it. I feel good. Below are the wipes I bought and started using last night. When I put my mask on the nasal part did not smell right. So I let it air dry for a bit. I also do these blogs before bed so that gets into my sleep time. Need to do it first thing in the morning. Weight has dropped a bit.
