The mouth tape I had it on till 6am and man it hurt to take off. Then I just pulled the head piece off quickly. I gotta fix the straps cause they kinda came apart. I slept a little more on my side without the mask. I did not get a chance to wash it today so I’ll wash everything early in the morning. It takes forever for the tube to dry. I think I’m gonna get the nasal pillow and chin strap. This machine is still life changing

12 days with my CPAP Bestie

 I am starting this blog to track my journey with my CPAP Bestie in real time.  First night with her was on April 2, 2026. Last night till this morning OMG so many freaking air leaks.  I would wake up with gush of air on my face so loud.  Dry desert dry mouth, unclipping the sides of the face mask to drink some water that spilled, cause its dark. I'll post my screen shots. This is the second time there have been some air leaks and I dont know why. I woke up at 430 so I can finish up my charting from the patients I saw yesterday.  I feel good no fog having my two cups of coffee but just little irritated waking up three times due to the air leaks and adjusting my face mask while trying to get back to sleep. I also  needed to pee twice in the middle of the night. SO not a good time with my CPAP Bestie last night. Let see what my app says tomorrow.  April 13 due to dry mouth adjusted the temp but last night went back to automatic April 12 April 11 April 10...

​📆 Day 13 💤 6 hours  ⚡️10 📝 last night I woke up like three to four times. Either from air gushing on my face forcefully or hearing an air leak. It’s very frustrating then I had to pee. I had a hard time waking up I did press snooze. My energy level was still at a 10. I did call the place I received my CPAP and the lady on the phone asked me to try to go down on the humidity cause my mouth was so dry again as well. I had to unclip my mask to sip some water. She made me an appointment on the 29th to try a different mask with a chin strap. I’m gonna order some mouth tape. I think maybe my mouth opens and the pressure changes. Also I change positions and it shift my mask. I mean when it’s good it’s good but the last three nights knowing that it can be good but having things like this happen it’s  frustrating. I hate that sad face and than 7.9 number. My AHI score was 53 with 229 events in four hours. Alright praying tonight is better.
